The “Video Verified” wireless surveillance system is a new technology in alarm systems! When an “electronic” intrusion signal is received by a monitoring facility, it is accompanied by a video clip of what/who caused the alarm. The alarm signal and videos are analyzed by the operator who determines if a police dispatch should be made. When the family dog is seen wandering through the home no dispatch is made and a false alarm dispatch is avoided. On the other hand, when an electronic intrusion alarm is received accompanied by a video clip of someone lurking in the premise, the police are notified of a potential “crime in progress” with specific information relative to the numbers of perpetrators, physical descriptions, etc. Police departments assign a higher response priority to “crimes in progress” and panic alarms than to notification of an audible alarm from a conventional alarm system. |
